The CoffeeMUD world is known as Alramidgaardia, named after the merger of Alramian and Midgaardian cultures that influence most of the known world. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west. The western edge of the Great Ocean is known to fall off the edge of the world. There are still lands to the east (especially on the Dark Continent) that are unexplored. This map does not show all of the zones in CoffeeMUD, especially those below the ground or above the world, but does provide an overall relationship of areas.

World Regions
This small color map denotes the political control of the world, as indicated by the city-states' self-declared borders.
- Calinthia is the region controlled by Calinth, and includes the Northern Ocean.
- Alramia is the region controlled by Alramus, and includes both the Great Ocean and the Itantan Sea.
- Thera is the region controlled by Midgaard and includes the Southern Sea.
- Ven'rasyl is the region controlled by Elvenhame.
- Ofcolia is the region controlled by Ofcol.
- Tyrithel is the region controlled by Orthindar.
- Thalosia is the region controlled by New Thalos and includes the Dragon Sea.
- Dark Continent is a term given by mainlanders to any land east of Alramidgaardia, including the Wine Dark Sea.
- Domhan Bol is the world-beneath, predominantly controlled by Nidenjord.
