Shorts:
Description: This command is for global communication with all users online. The parameter is a simple message to send to everyone online. You can use a comma and a social name to use a social over the channel. You can use a comma and an emote string to emote over the channel. The "LAST" command can be used to view previous messages you may have missed. Use the NOGOSSIP command to silence this channel and turn if off for you. When turned off GOSSIP can turn it on again.

Notes

  • Channel backlogs (like GOSSIP LAST 30) are port specific, which may lead to some confusion on shared channels since you will only be able to see messages from other players on the same port in the backlog, but will see messages from other ports when done live.
    • This is an artifact of how ports *may* share a channel, but are not required to. Therefore, each port tracks messages from its own channels in the backlogs.
