Triumphs

The triumph system is an end-game mechanic to revisit designated adventuring spots and face increasingly tougher challenges. Your Triumph rating will determine the difficulty of the mobs with respect to your party. Completing certain goals within the Triumph will result in an increase in your Triumph rating. You can find your Triumph rating on your SCORE screen once you reach level 91. At ratings above 100 Triumph, enemies will gain additional abilities from Triumph Arcs.

Earning Triumph Points

Various objectives within a Triumph area will award Triumph faction points. When the objective is accomplished, you will receive a local announcement of your achievement. If your final Triumph score is less than or equal to 0, you will fail that Triumph, and will not receive a Victory Point for your efforts.

Objective Triumph Points Announcement Notes
Kills 1 Triumphant kills achieved! Awarded for killing 50% of the area's total mobs. This may occur due to killing of respawning mobs.
Slaughtering 1 Triumphant slaughter achieved! Awarded for killing 80% of the area's total mobs. This may occur due to killing of respawning mobs.
Massacring 1 Triumphant massacre achieved! Awarded for killing 100% of the area's total mobs. This may occur due to killing of respawning mobs.
Assassination 1 Triumphant assassinations achieved! Awarded for killing the toughest mob in the instance.
Kill Timer 1 1 Timely kills achieved! Awarded for killing greater than 80% of the mobs with 10 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Kill Timer 2 1 Quick kills achieved! Awarded for killing greater than 80% of the mobs with 20 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Kill Timer 3 1 Fast kills achieved! Awarded for killing greater than 80% of the mobs with 30 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Kill Timer 4 1 Very fast kills achieved! Awarded for killing greater than 80% of the mobs with 40 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Kill Timer 5 1 Blindingly fast kills achieved! Awarded for killing greater than 80% of the mobs with 50 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Exploration 1 Triumphant exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms in the Triumph area.
Exploration Timer 1 1 Timely exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms with 10 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Exploration Timer 2 1 Quick exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms with 20 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Exploration Timer 3 1 Fast exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms with 30 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Exploration Timer 4 1 Very fast exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms with 40 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Exploration Timer 5 1 Blindingly fast exploration achieved! Awarded for visiting greater than 80% of the rooms with 50 minutes remaining on your Triumph timer.
Each death -1 Each time you die in a Triumph, you will lose 1 point.

Triumph points are awarded for each of the above objectives attained. For example, if you sneak through the Triumph, and explore all of the Triumph within 10 minutes of accepting it, you would get 6 Triumph points: 1 for Exploration, 1 for Exploration Timer 1, 1 for Exploration Timer 2, 1 for Exploration Timer 3, 1 for Exploration Timer 4 and 1 for Exploration Timer 5. If you had died 7 times while exploring the Triumph area, and give up after 10 minutes without killing at least 50% of the mobs, you would earn 6 points for those explorations and -7 points for deaths, resulting in a net score of -1 Triumph points, failing the Triumph and not earning a Victory Point.

Triumph Ranks

Your Triumph score determines your overall Triumph difficulty. This starts at Rank 0 upon reaching level 91. As you succeed in Triumphs, your rank will slowly increase, based on your performance in the Triumph.

Triumph Rewards

Item drops from these Triumph areas will be increased in power proportional to the Triumph level, providing added incentive to participate in these challenges. However, items found in Triumphs cannot be learned for crafting.

Completing a Triumph with a net gain in Triumph rating will also reward a Victory Point, which can be exchanged at a Triumph vendor for a variety of rewards. You may only earn 1 Victory Point per 10 minutes of game time, since the Victory Point is awarded as a result of a momentary achievement.

Triumph Providers

A Triumph Provider is a MOB that assigns a Triumph to you, which must be completed within the next hour. Each Triumph Provider will have a specific list of areas that they will randomly assign a Triumph from. You may only complete a certain number of Triumphs from a Triumph category a specified number of times per day.
