CoffeeMud Version 4.2.2
Released on Feb 28, 2004 4:42 AM
- Quests will be aware of the objects used by other quests so as to prevent duplicates.
- Masterwork items added to common skills, and some damage adjustments made. Most likely we are heading to just plain Master crafting skills soon, however.
- DISABLE and DEBUG flags added to INI file. They should both normally be blank, so modifying your INI is not REALLY necessary.
- WizInv now disabled when a subop leaves their area, ditto sysmsgs.
- CONSUME_PROG added to Scriptable
- Half-Races (via GenRace) now autogenerated due to Pregnancy. The Half Races will split the human and non-human racial attributes right down the middle.
- Resurrection now restores lost experience from death.
- Link, Lock commands restored.
- Permanency Spell now really permanent, but drains permanent mana also.
- JewelMaking common skill expanded quite a bit. Drilling common skill added.
- Identify message for some magic items has been greatly enhanced (by better english translation of the HaveAdjuster/WearAdjuster parms).
- UseSpellCast, FightSpellCast, etc.. props now accept parameters for the spells if you need them.
- Prop_ModExperience created.
- Most magic or skill-summoned creatures no longer grant experience when killed.
- Archons will no longer EVER fumble their skills/spells, nor will they need to eat, nor will they ever get fatigued.
- Outfit control now added to GenRace.
- NOCOMMON switch added to MOBTeacher behavior.
- New Fighter Skill: Point Blank Shot
- Two new Classes: Apprentice and Artisan. Not too sure about the second one, but the first is a really cool idea that can be expanded on by muds who want everyone to come in on the same footing.
- GenCharClasses created. Although I personally did not expect much use from it, one of my builders suggested that these could be a great tool not only for CM customizers, but for builders who want to create skill templates for their mobs. Anyway, just thought I'd pass that thought on.
- And, as always, lots and lots and lots of bugs fixed.
