CoffeeMud Version 4.1.1
Released on Dec 3, 2003 3:09 AM
- (Might have also made the last build) Area SubOps now restricted from modifying/deleting players.
- Completed Clan system (do HELP CLANS) for more info. Important note! Old Clans will have found that their old Bosses are now degraded to Leaders due to the insertion of the Clan Enchanter position.
- New Clan Commands to support the new system include: CLANVOTE, CLANQUAL, CLANDECLARE, CLANTAX, and perhaps one or two more.
- New Clan coffeemud.ini entries: CLANVOTEO, CLANVOTED, CLANVOTER, CLANENCHCOST
- New Scriptable Functions: ISALIVE, ISPKILL, NAME
- Updates to the LockSmith Common Skill (allows one-sided locks now)
- New AUTOPURGE feature for players. See the AUTOPURGE INI entry. Also try out NOPURGE, list NOPURGE, destroy NOPURGE, etc..
- Zapper Masks are now recognized in the ini file for channels INSTEAD of straight levels. Update your INI files!!
- For you coders, the max-stats are now exposed to affectCharStats, so both race and class can now affect your maximum in any stat. The values are actually a relative adjustment from base 18.
- JewelMaking common skill extended a bit to allow mounting/encrusting.
- Masonry and Construction updated for making peep-holes (windows), and crawlways.
- Clan Enchantment spells courtesy of Jeremy V.
- GenTub item created for easy bath tubs.
- Scriptable STAT and GSTAT related functions can now dip into CharStats, EnvStats, and CharState (STRENGTH, SAVING THROWS, HIT POINTS, SENSESMASK, etc, etc) -- so those complaining that you couldn't get at that data can now have at it!
- Scriptable behavior may now be added to items or rooms.
- New Scriptable triggers: GET_PROG, PUT_PROG, WEAR_PROG, REMOVE_PROG, DROP_PROG -- obviously to support items, but they will work for Scriptable mobs as well.
- Lots of bug fixes, of course, though they tended to be more minor fixes, which is why I'm sticking with 4.1 as the official build for awhile.
