Using Socials

Socials are special commands in CoffeeMUD which will display a predetermined message. Socials can be performed standalone, directed at someone in the room (or everyone), or directed at yourself. The same social command may have different messages depending on the target of the social. The display of a social may be different for the user, the target, and any other bystanders watching the interaction take place.

Using Socials in Channels

Socials can also be displayed over channels by typing the channel name, space, colon, social, space, target (if applicable). Typing: 

GOSSIP :P

does not provide an emoji, instead it will do a non-directed social of the first social starting with the letter P.

Using Socials Explicitly

Socials can also be explicitly entered with the , command, such as: 

,DANCE

to enable Dancer-classed players to use the DANCE social.
