COMMONACCOUNTSYSTEM

COMMONACCOUNTSYSTEM enables or disables the common account system that allows players to use single accounts to manage all their characters. Value is 0 or 1 to disable, or the maximum number of characters each account can create. Default is 1

Max Plays is the same as MAXCONNSPERACCOUNT which is used with COMMONACCOUNTSYSTEM and the MAXCONNSPERIP systems above to set a maximum number of character online for a given account. Value is 0 to disable this feature, or a positive number. Default is 3

Notes

• When using a common account system with remort enabled, you may wish to protect remorted characters in some fashion, such as putting them on the NOPURGE list.
• If the COMMONACCOUNTSYSTEM is enabled, individual accounts may be modified with bonus (or penalty) character slots with the MODIFY ACCOUNT [ACCOUNTNAME] command.
• If the MAXCONNSPERACCOUNT system is used, individual accounts may be modified with bonus (or penalty) connection slots with the MODIFY ACCOUNT [ACCOUNTNAME] command.
• The higher the Max Plays/MAXCONNSPERACCOUNT, the more botting is encouraged, and it becomes more difficult to manage game balance.
