- Scriptable MPECHO command no longer has a syntax for "private" echoing. This brings it into conformity with standards for this command.
- Catching a disease no longer automatically drops followers under most circumstances.
- ShopKeepers now have ability to charge quest points, exp, or money for items. See the Archons guide for more info on this.
- Bug: modify mob <mob name> where <mob name> is a player was not presenting the player editor, but was presenting the mob editor.
- Help entries for abilities now shows mana/movement cost for the person getting the help
- The training post cost for basic stats was modified. Training up to 18 costs 1 training point, up to 20 costs 2, up to 22 costs 3, up to 24 costs 4, and above that costs 5 training points.
- Base Max Stat INI entry created for adjusting the base 18 system
- Max Stats can now be adjusted by race or class.
- Areas that share law files in their Arrest behavior parm will now also share warrants (wanted in one place means wanted in the other also).
- ProtectedCitizen behavior accepts WANDER parameter.
- Items of certain materials can now float on water instead of always sinking. Special thanks to thrinntu for the intense research this required.
- InstallationGuide updated with donated unix mysql info. Thanks!
- Arrest behaviors with parameter "custom" can have non-ini file customizable laws and policies using the new GenLawBook item. GenLawBook item must have the name of the area with such an Arrest behavior set up.
- Mining now picks up coal (duh!)
- Foraging now picks up more (in volume) cloth material than foodstuffs.
- No more horrible death crys whenever a player is autopurged.
- Clan Enchanter position in Clans created. They are designated spenders of Clan Experience via the Clan Enchant spells.
- Bug: NP exception in Snatch skill fixed.
- ShopKeepers who sell land will now show only properties adjacent to available rooms, adjacent to rooms not for sale, or adjacent to rooms owned by the viewer of the list.
- Bug: Residual CONTROL trigger word was still in the Turn Undead skill. Was removed.
- Duration field in Smokables set through editor is now meaningful.
- Bug fixed which allowed Charlatans to disguise themselves as Archons.
- Bug: Smoke Rings was not gaining profficiency through practice. Fixed.
- Bug: Default Z level will remain selected in MUDGrinder now.
- Bug: Can no longer backstab with a flailed weapon.
- Bug: Dagger was overlooked as a handled weapon type in Cleric subclasses.
- Bug: Can no longer KNOCK on thin air.
- Areas can now have parents/children. Property/Behavior support for this is still iffy.
- Bug: ResetWhole behavior was just flat broke. Is fixed now.
- Bug: Cooking: certain recipes were broke due to parsing error. Fixed.
- Archons can now get privileged information when using CLANDETAILS command.
- DESTROY CLAN <name> now works.
- MODIFY CLAN <name> can now be used to change a clans status.
- MOBTeachers now respond to GAIN LIST command.
- Can now specify how much you want to smelt in the Smelting skill.
- Masonry skill can now build pools, crawlways, windows, and portcullis
- Bug: From name in Journal web macros is now fixed.
- ShopKeepers can now have LIMIT parameter in their prejudice mask to define an absolute limit to number of items shown on LIST.
- Bug: Can no longer use containers to get rid of undroppable items.
- Bug: Weaponsmith items with ' characters in their names were renamed to avoid bugs.
- Shutdowns are now much more chatty.
- Bug: NP exception in Flank skill fixed.
- Bug: Avoid Traps skill now gains profficiency over time as it ought.
- Following now use level difference instead of absolute levels to weight difficulty: Laughter Spell, Hold Spell, Flesh Stone, Dismissal, Disintegrate, Flesh Rock, Demonic Consumption, Treemorph, Hold Animal, Domesticate
- Races can now be designated fertile/infertile.
- Bug: Racial Categories Amphibian and Fish never ever drown or need to tread water.
- ObjectGuardian behavior now accepts SENTINEL parameter.
- Bug: Most Fake and Conjured Weapons, Food, Armor, etc.. no longer have monetary value.
- No longer have to swim from water->land.
- Bug: Looks like something was fixed in Prop_PracticeDummy, but not sure what.
- Bug: You can now wake up in a Prop_Crawlspace room.
- Can no longer scrap items on private property, and scrap duration is now a function of item weight.
- Bug: The "You stop working" message is now gone. It was actually a bug in Smoke Rings.
- Can now modify player clan roles from command line player editor.
- Bug: Yelling from silenced rooms is now fixed.
- Bug: Renamed items (as in Enlarge item spell) now display properly in rooms.
- Virtues of balsa and ironwood now in the help files for common skills.
- Clans with deleted or missing bosses will now have someone autopromoted to keep the clan going.
- Bug: Certain crafted items could previously be repeatedly removed from banks. This is now fixed.
- Bug: Can no longer Distract when on the ground.
- Bug: Can no longer Con someone while in combat with them.
- Bug: Analyze Mark now autogains in profficiency
- Bug: Detect Ambush was over enthusiastic in its reports.
- Bug: Linked Health can now only be cast on group members.
- The following spells can now have a player/mob name placed in their parameters in order to use as a kind of hard-coded charming/following: Charm Animal, Enthrall, Charm, Sermon
- Bug: Folks underwater will no longer get weather reports.
- Archons with playerkill on will always override player preferences.
- Bug: Players mob objects reported as not ticking will no longer be destroyed, but will only be logged out.
- New Archon command: AFTER
- A follower may not be ORDERed if you have your autoassist turned off.
- NOPROMPT parameter added to shutdown.
- The connection spam-blocker is now in place, as described in the group message previously posted.
- Prop_NoPurge can now be placed on items for the same affect.
- Limbs now affects wear positions to an extent.
- Bug: Problem with amputated limbs now affecting wear positions fixed.
- LONG parameter to EQUIPMENT command can now be used to see all available wear positions.
- Carpentry, Blacksmith, Scrimshaw, and most other common craft skills can now make Bundles. Bundled resources are automatically unbundled the next time you try to make anything out of the bundle.
- GenLawBook item done. Set the readable text to the name of an Area which has The Arrest Behavior with parameter: custom. The Law Book can then be used to modify laws and legal policies there.
- Bug: Charisma now restricts not just followers, but followers followers.
- Internal: Healing and Experience Gains are now message types. Cap on healing is 511 hp. No cap on XP.
- Undead are now harmed by healing spells and healed by harming spells (though they still get mad at you for casting harm spells at them). Undead now also have immunities in addition to their resistances.
- Can now specify a minimum elapsed time between moves using MINMOVETIME INI entry.
- Summon Steed and Summon Flyer can now create angry herds.
- Bug: Nondetection skill fixed.
- Floating Disc can now no longer target the ungettable.
- Following spells, when worn off, can anger the formerly affected: Enthrall, Charm, Friendship, Charm Animal
- Files can now be specified in the readable text of a readable item or exit using FILE= syntax.
- Bug: Animate prayers now create more proper undead, who are 1 level lower than their minimum, who have lasting stats, and proper limbs as the body they were made from.
- A lower mana limit MANAMINCOST can now be set in INI file. This was previously 5 mana for all spells.
- Mageness, Bardness, Druidness, and Clericness behaviors now accept parameters to determine the types of spell choices made by the caster.
- New Chant: Chant_EelShock, and Disease: Yawns; thanks Lee!
- Bug: Armor Rescore button fixed in MUDGrinder
- Automatic mana consumption when players are affected by spells can now be set up using MANACONSUMETIME, and MANACONSUMEAMT INI entries.
- New Prayer: Heal Undead
- Lots and lots and lots of new help entries to fill in some gaps noticed by players.
