Clans
Clans are a group of players banded together for some common purpose, or due to common lineage or fellowship. Clans are created using the CLANCREATE command, and listed using CLANLIST. Once created,CLANPREMISE can be used to describe the clan. Potential members apply to clans using CLANAPPLY, and are either accepted by the clan using CLANACCEPT or rejected using CLANREJECT, after listing the applicants names using CLANDETAILS. Bosses can set up autorejecting qualifications to the clan using CLANQUAL. Once accepted, members can be removed using CLANEXILE or promoted to other offices using CLANASSIGN. Members can leave on their own using CLANRESIGN. Offices like Treasurers can deal with special Clan bankers and postmen on their Clans behalf. Members can cast "Clan Donate" to their clans after the boss has used CLANDONATESET to set a donation room for their clan. Members can share their experience points with the clan if the bosses have set up an experience tax rate using CLANTAX. Members also have access to the spell "Clan Home" which they can use to recall to the room set by the boss using CLANHOMESET. Clan activity is very important. If the minimum number of members is not maintained, then pending or inactive clans may be deleted by the system. Once there are several active clans, the bosses may use CLANDECLARE to declare relations between their clan and others, and members can use CLANKILLS or CLANPVPKILLS to keep track of how their members fair in war.
Joining a Clan
In order to join an existing clan, the character must CLANAPPLY to the specific clan. If the clan has autoaccept members (such as a Theocracy or Anarchy), then you will immediately become a member of the clan. Otherwise, someone in the clan of appropriate clan rank must use the CLANACCEPT command to approve your application, or CLANREJECT to decline your application. You may use the CLANRESIGN command to remove your application at any time.
Creating a Clan
Anyone with sufficient money (10,000 gold or equivalent currency) may create a clan with the CLANCREATE command. After selecting the Clan Government and clan name, the new clan will automatically become level 1 after 24 hours (real time), and the creator of the clan will be the highest rank available to them, unless some other method is used for determining the leader, such as a Theocracy.
Controlling your Clan
Clans have many different capabilities, with the clan type and member rank determining which capabilities are useable. For a comparison between clan powers, see the Clan Master Authority List.
MANAGING CLAN MEMBERS
Accepting New Members
If a rank has permission to accept, they may use the CLANACCEPT command for any applicant they wish to permit into the clan.
Rejecting New Members
If a rank has permission to Reject, they may use the CLANREJECT command for any applicant they wish to bar entry into the clan.
Viewing Members
If a rank has permission to List members, they will see all members of the clan when they use the CLAN command.
Promoting Members
If a rank has permission to assign, they may use the CLANASSIGN command to set the rank of clan members. If a clan has Clan titles for the specified rank, then the player will automatically gain the appropriate title of that clan rank.
Removing Members
If a rank has permission to exile, they may use the CLANEXILE command to remove clan members. Any clan member may remove themselves from the clan using the CLANRESIGN command.
Ordering
If a rank has permission to Order Underlings, then they may use the ORDER command on other clan members of lower rank. If a rank has permission to Order Conquered, then they may use the ORDER command on any mob in a clan-controlled area.
MANAGING CLAN PROPERTY
