CoffeeMud Version 3.8.5.7

  1. New bubbleAffects boolean on the Ability interface to make Affects passed on by Items much more elegant.
  2. MASK_HURT bug fixed and improved to allow damage up to 1023.
  3. MudChat updated to allow includes (Thanks Jeremy!)
  4. Racial categories added to Race interface to allow Racial Enemy abilities for Rangers.
  5. Rangers and Druids no longer divide experience among animal followers, assuming they either deliver the killing blow, or are the "first player in line".
  6. Wish is now a 30th level Mage spell.
  7. Dual Parry is now spelled right. :)
  8. Cover Defence Fighter skill added.
  9. Dodge now only works against non-ranged/thrown weapons (melee).
  10. Craft Holy Avenger skill now 30th level Paladin
  11. Favored Enemy 1-4 skills added for Rangers.
  12. Woodland Sneak and Woodland Hide skills for Rangers.
  13. Woodland Lore skill added for Rangers
  14. BARBARIAN Class created!
  15. MONK Class created!
  16. Animal Frenzy now 30th level Ranger skill.
  17. GoodGuardian Behavior now a little more good
  18. Experience requirement now grows by only 25exp after 25th.
  19. Monk skills: Atemi Strike, Ax Kick, Body Flip, Cartwheel, Catch Projectile, Circle Parry, Circle Trip, Deflect Projectile, Flying Kick, Ki Strike, Knife Hand, Monkey Punch, Lightning Strike, Pin, Return Projectile created.
  20. Barbarian skills: War Cry, Battle Cry, Rally Cry, Charge, Shrug, Stone Body, Spring created.
  21. Bugs in Wind Gust and Repulsion fixed.
  22. Players with AUTOMELEE Off will now spend 25 movement and as many Attacks as required to retreat to the range of their wielded weapon. Very Cool! Archers are now much more viable!
  23. CHARGEN changed to GENCHAR to avoid confusion with CHARGE skill.
  24. Bard's may now use Non-Metal armors instead of Leather or worse.
  25. Massive bug fixed! Damage adjusted by skills/spells will now actually change the message to reflect new damage!

  27. HELP for the TRAIN command updated for subclasses.
  28. Very high-point damage messages extended to 300 from 95.
  29. Programmer's Guide has a section on Character Classes now!
  30. Journal date bug fixed?
