CoffeeMud Version 3.8.8.1

  1. GenMobs now have their Hit Point modifier default to 11 instead of 0 -- very important!
  2. Corpses are now Generic Items, meaning all relevant info about them will be saved.
  3. Spell_Mirage can now accept a roomID parameter
  4. Most Admin Web macros no longer active before the MUD completes booting.
  5. Journal Browser in MUDGrinder completed.
  6. Player info in MUDGrinder now shows correct Armor, and MAX Damage amount.
  7. Wear-restrictions bug fixed in the Races. Sorry Druids!
  8. Quest Manager added to MUDGrinder
  9. Script/file editor added to Quest Manager. This is a secure system -- no worries! Not only is the file editor an Admin macro, requiring login, but it only allows browsing of MOUNTed directories.
  10. Prop_WeaponImmunity created.
  11. ShopKeeper's now give a lot more info on VIEW
  12. Regeneration property/skill now accepts parameters of excepted damage.
  13. POST fixed -- all Admin/MUDGrinder web macros now use POST to transmit data -- slightly more secure.
  14. Archon's will now take half the time to login.
  15. MOBTeacher mobs will now take an infintesimal time to load. This will improve your boot times bigtime!
  16. Armor/Combat descriptions now extended to a 400/500 point system. More descriptions added to compensate.
  17. Can now refill a lantern before it runs out.
  18. Command word parsing significantly changed: XCommands now have precedence. Ability evoking words will give way to socials or other commands if the mob does not have the skill. Exact wordings will always have precedence over partial wordings.
  19. Couple of new Scriptable functions: EVAL and NUMBER
  20. MSP question removed from character creation. Let them turn it on if they want it.
  21. Behaviors: ClanHelper, FaithHelper, BrotherHelper, and RaceHelper will now attack mobs if necessary.
  22. Behaviors: Aggressive, WimpyAggressive, MobileAggressive, and VeryAggressive now accept a parameter "MOBKILLER" to expose mobs to their wrath.
  23. New Arrest changes: laws.ini flag "ARRESTMOBS" exposes mobs to all laws except nudity and the armed citizen law.
  24. ' Weapon/Armor guide added to the Archon's Guide -- see Appendix C
  25. StdBanker's now default to CHARGE interest for holding money instead of paying it -- this is only a default. Your old GenBankers will be unaffected, and you can still change it to a positive interest rate.
  26. And, as always, numerous bugs fixed.
